I've been reading about landlord insurance to cover liabilities and damages. Does anyone else use this type of insurance? What company's are best? 

Had a inspection and they said the first floor needs to be replaced. The tenets are running extension cords all over. the current owner does not want to do anything. I did find a insurance company who will insure it as is. 

Should I move forward and have it replaced over the next few months? Or use a rehab loan to replace it now? 

I have a accepted offer on a two family in MA with knob and tube wiring, but I'm finding it difficult to locate a company for insurance. Any ideas? 

I found a two family property that seems to cash flow well. Listed at 90k and gross rents are 1750. i am supposed to see the property this weekend, and while looking through the disclosures I noticed it listed fuse and knob and tube wiring, and asbestos siding. Is this often a hard pass? 

If i open a LLC in one state (RI), and buy a multi in another (MA/CT). Do I need to fill in the other states?

I went to school full time. I also worked a full time corporate security job, and part time as a line cook.

Does anyone have any experince with Lending One? I see they fix and flip loan that can be converted to a rental loan inhouse.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

hello, I'm a new member with a little experience. I bought my first two family 1.5 years ago. I'm look to buy another. Mostly in the north eastern CT and central Massachusetts areas.  Has anyone had experience investing in rural areas? Pros/cons? I'm bit Hesitant. I would imagine it may be difficult to find tenets. Anyone had experience with Norwich CT or Plainfield CT?
