@Bill Sargeson I had a similar situation on one of my units. Make sure the gaps are caulked, sill slopes, everything is painted with a nice glossy finish and the shower head won't aim directly at the window. I haven't had any problems.

@David Lucas Depends on your appetite for risk. If you pay off debt you reduce risk but you have a capped potential. Hard to recommend a solution with out much information. Have you considered selling your house and getting into an investment property?
