@Tom, I am debating the same issue. In reading on the BRRR, it seems like that is what they are doing. Another option is taking a home equity loan and using that money to purchase another property. This can be risky if the investing is not producing the right numbers. The only way I can see doing this is if the new property provides enough cash flow and appreciation that would make it worth while taking the loan and paying the interest.

Thanks Jason McKinley, I will take a look at that. Erin Donlan I might need to pick your brain to see what other areas in Indy that are good for investing.

I do have a question for anyone who might know the answer. I currently have a rental property that has about 200K in equity. I am looking for money to be able to invest in another property, is it possible to refinance and take some of that equity out or should I just do a home equity loan?

Thanks everyone. I am currently interested in the Indianapolis market, I am currently in the process of buying a property in Greenwood, IN. What are your thoughts in that market, and do you have any suggestions. Since I am new at this, I want to start on single family residences and eventually move up to multifamily residences.

Hi All,

I am a new member from California looking to invest in other states. I am still new at this, but I am learning more and more everyday. I would like to eventually learn about multifamily investing. I am looking forward to connecting with other investors and in doing so creating some relationships.
