Hi @Christin Knight, it was a pleasure working with you as well. I was just stating that the 3rd party referrals are not always going to have the investors best interest at heart. This is why it is important to have the advisors like you to pursued the 3rd party referrals to provide the best product/service for the investor. I look forward to working with in closing this deal and get this property rented and I am so eager to build my portfolio. If you prefer, we can talk offline about my thoughts.

Hi @Madhavi Ganti, I have purchased a property with Marshall Reddick in Indy and I will say their advisors will walk you through the whole process. One of their claims is that they have built a network for you in areas that are good for REI. I would make sure that you vet their preferred partners. In some cases they might only refer you only to one. Make sure that you are comfortable and confidant that they are the right business to work with. I have had a couple of issues, but that might be specific for my situation.

Is there any investors here in California that have invested in Indianapolis, IN. I am wanting to connect with people locally to talk about their experiences investing in Indy.

Hello, I am wondering if anybody know any recommended property management companies that can manage a property in Fishers, IN.

Thanks!

Hi @Makenzie Kelly. Nice to see another Indy investor in town. Since you do a lot of investment in Indy, do you have any experience with property management companies in the area. I am currently using Barratt Asset Managemnet to manage my property. They have given me a quote to get the property rent ready, but I am sure if the prices for the repairs are fair.

Hi @Aaron Cullen. So far my experience with them has been good. Marshall Reddick is pretty much playing the middle man. I also thought that myself, but I figured for my first out of state investment, I might want to use their contacts in order to have a smoother process. They pretty much streamline the whole process and hold their contacts accountable. They also recommended a lender to me that is licensed in that state. For the next one I might just do it myself. Once I get solid contacts, I will feel more comfortable doing it on my own.

Hi @Chris Collins, the prices do look a little hight to me. I just bought a property in Indy and I am using Barratt Asset Management. I believe their fees are a little lower, but we are still in the early stages so, I can't recommend them yet. Although, it would be good to at least compare. Also, I have heard good things about imp (Indianapolis property Management). Oh, and by the way, who did you use for a turnkey company? I went through Marshall Reddick if you are familiar with them.

Hello. My name is Israel Robles from Livermore, CA. I am a new real estate investor investing out of state specifically in Indy. I was wondering if there is others in the area that may have experience investing out of state as well as investing locally that could help me learn more about REI. If there are others especially around the east bay, I would like to connect and learn as and possibly be partners.

Happy Investing!

Thanks @Account Closed

Hi @Brett Snodgrass,

I am looking for a SFR less than 150K in a good school district. I am looking for at least $200 cash flow. I did make a short trip out there to visit Greenwood, IN for a property that never went through.
