@Paul Singh

Welcome!  You've found a great resource to start your journey into real estate.  As a successful business owner you're already a few steps ahead of the average newbie.

My motivation comes from a similar place as yours. Life is short. I've already spent too much time at a traditional job. I want to spend spend more time exploring the world with my husband and child.

Real estate seems like the best way to financial freedom.  I haven't been at it very long so the newness and enjoyment of learning are enough to keep me excited  most days.

I focus on Section 8 housing in Atlanta and low cost houses (<$50k). Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about these areas.

Good luck!

Congrats, Todd!  It looks great. I liked seeing which items you were able to repurpose.

Sadly, my only thought is that is February and you are done with your taxes.  I need to be more organized.

Welcome and congratulations on your peding nuptials!

I think Columbus has a Moving to Work Section 8 program like the city of Atlanta. All participants must be taking classes or working to keep their benefits. I feel like generally this gives you a slightly better tenant pool then other Section 8 programs, but you milage may vary.

Being an EMT has probably prepared you for being a landlord in some ways. Both jobs require clear communication, keeping a level head when others are not, and dealing with crazy people.

Keep reading and good luck!

I agree. That's a good area.
