@Justin Sellers

Hey Justin, I just noticed your post. I am an agent in the Spartanburg And Greenville area and would be able to assist you in your auto search for you.

Hopefully I’m not too late. I notice it has been 5 days since the post.

Thanks!

What are you planning on starting, expanding on, stopping, etc... for 2020?

I am wanting to expand to investing out of state and gain more connections to further my networking. I could probably go on for days with goals and ambitions. What are yours?

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on flips, an agent, a landlord, and just started a role as developer in the real estate world. I seem to be slightly overwhelmed at times and know that real estate investing is in my DNA, but is this the best approach?

I was able to flip 3 homes, close 31 deals, and keep the one renter happy and paying all year in 2019. I hope to grow my rental market more in 2020, do 5 flips, work at least 50 deals as an agent, and develop more homes (to list) while working with a builder. I’m also looking into getting my builders license.

Any advice or direction is welcomed. I want to make sure my wife can stay home with our growing family and we can also retire when I turn, or before I turn, 55.

Thank you!

Diversify,

Grant

@Kathy S. The flipping options in the area have lowered due to the economy going so well. I flip also and it is fighting tooth and nail for a deal.

Using another investor wouldn’t hurt as long as everything is understood financially going in.

Good luck with everything you have going on here in the upstate!!

@Katie Miller I hope to gain more rental houses and am currently reading David Greene’s Long Distance Real Estate Investing in order to tap into markets outside of where I live in SC. With a potential baby number 3 on the way soon, I want to make sure we are covered with enough passive income.

I am currently working a part time job to keep insurance for us four and I had an in depth conversation with a coworker as to why I am still there. Passive income for comfort ability.

A lot is going on with the McDowell Real Estate Group this year with closing a flip, midway through a current one, and acting as developer for the first time on some land I bought last year in a tax sale. Pretty exciting overall and looking forward to see these goals become reality!

Hoping all on here a positive 2020 and never look back but always forward. Grow. Build. Network.

Keep going and Semper Fi

Good morning!

Quick question: when did you know to take the plunge to go all in with your real estate investing from your normal job?

Thank you,
