Learned a lot from the answers, a quick question, a little off topic, does the agents broker need to know they are wholesaling?

@Guy Gimenez how do you market to them? Do you still use yellow letters and do all the marketing a none licensed wholesaler would do?

99designs is a little too expensive in my opinion for someone starting up, you can go get a decent logo for $50 on Freelancer.com

Welcome to BP @Trailson Moore i am taking my state exam on Jan 17

I recommend getting the 3 courses you need out of the way ASAP  (Principles, Practice, Other) (This is in California)

and focus on Study Guides that help you pass the test.

I took a in class crash course around my area a week ago and it real prepared me for the test

i did my 3 courses online www.eprealestateschool.com

GET THEM DONE ASAP, they are a waist of time, but you need to pass them, once you are done find courses that help you pass your exam specifically

Good Luck

@Jorge Ortega Welcome to BP! i am 19, and i'm studying for my Real Estate Exam that i will be taking on January 17.... any advice on what helped you pass?

I plan on doing mostly Short Sales with my license, i believe this will allow me to learn as i get paid before i start investing on my own. (Wholesaling/Flipping/Buy Hold)

I guess you can look at us being young as a disadvantage (which it probably is) but i like to look at it as a motivator that we have to know our stuff 10 times better.

I plan on finding a good mentor to help me out.

Good Luck and hopefully we can do some deals in the future
