@Chris Howell never do business over email. Pick up the phone and call them.

Never send money up front to anyone.

Any fees should be handled during closing.

Anyone asking for money upfront, only do business over email, asking for more money etc is a SCAM!

@Jonathan Trimboli. MacBook all the way. I purchase a pro back in 2011 and it’s still running solid with only updates to SSD and max to 16GB memory. I run virtual desktop with Windows OS but nowadays rarely is it since most apps are cloud based google business suite or others.

Honestly I might not ever need another machine.

@Account Closed I would network more with realtors and create a action/plan to call 10 realtors and start networking more so you have a team working for you.  Let them know you are a serious investor cash buyer.  Key thing is build rapport and keep calling realtors and building your network as you never know which one will have pocket deals so the more the better.

Best wishes

@Jasmine Nicole like others are saying start with what is free when you have limited budget. That means your time and effort will be your capital.

D4$

Network- tell everyone you know you are looking for investment properties. Post it on FB

Call 10 realtors every week tell them you are investor looking for off market investment that need rehab

Go to REI meetups

Just a few things that cost time and effort

@Mike G. Skip trace is your option. Has anyone used lead mining pros for skip tracing? REI skip gets a lot of recommendations.

What are others using for skip trace?
