@Jasmine Nicole like Max Maxwell says, the cheapest way to start is driving for dollars, skip tracing and cold calling. A lot of other things will cost a bunch of money (direct mail, SEO, PPC, etc.). 

Just build a list of addresses, skip trace, and call and see if they'll consider selling. I'm starting to do a lot more of this lately. You'll get a lot of no's but that's part of the game. Good luck!
