Rather than finding an insurance company, you should look for a competent and professional agent/broker who understands the needs and concerns of real estate investors. @Jason Bott appears to be someone who specializes in this industry (though I have no personal knowledge of him). At the end of the day, think of it more as hiring an agent as opposed to buying a policy. A great agent will allow you to spend less time than absolutely necessary dealing with or worrying about your insurance for your investments.

Thank you Tommy!

I think the REAL QUESTION here should be... "What's Falling You Forward?"... Finding deals/Marketing for deals that come to you/Prospecting deals , Analyzing Deals(quickly to rule out the thumb and then deep dive mo into da numbers and then if makes sense... Put in da OFFER ...Land da Moneys. And if you think something is holding you back then analyze that... Are you really focused on the GOAL? Once you do that, the obstacles are only in your peripheral vision my friend.

Eva great job! Yeah, let the tenants pay their own utilities, good idea. They probably use less water that way and could be more responsible with garb as well :) I've had some rentals in the past, so know where your coming from.

We may also rent out our residence down the road. August 2nd we are doing a Refi out of a land contract and will have our own financing/mortgage on our house that we already own. Kinda backwards, but it worked.

Good luck going forward,

Kel

Start going to weekly Real Estate meet ups in your area.

Have some basic business cards printed up and trade cards with the people you meet there.

Be friendly and make some new business friends and your path should become clearer.

Good Luck!

Scott Hi, thanks for the advice. I've been going to REIA Club in my area on and off, depending on the topic for the month. Learning a lot. And sharing as well.
