YAHOO @Karyn T.!!  That's the push you needed!  I say do both, or just do real estate.

Julian is in Washington.  California laws still apply?

The first thing I would recommend is calling Doug: http://www.seattle-realestate-lawyer.com/

I have to ask... why would you use money out of your personal residence equity to fund someone else's deal? I know lots of people take the risk using it for something they're in control of, but have never heard of using a HELOC to loan to someone else.

Another thing to ask Doug about would be the legal requirements for you to lend money to someone else.

WAIT WAIT @Lawrence Eddy CALL ME WITH YOUR DEALS!!!  Seriously, add me to your buyer's list.

@Nghi Le is 100% correct that you don't need a cash buyer list to sell a deal....if it's a deal. Be sure you have reasonably accurate ARV with comps to support it, and realistic RCE....then call me: 425-610-7031 and email me [email protected]

I REALLY like Doug Owens!  Just my .02 :)

Welcome from up north in Marysville!  Glad to have you here on BP @Aaron Santas!  If your company is also based in Pierce county, there is so much rehab activity, I'm sure you can pick up more business too!

If you haven't already, check out the Bigger Pockets Podcast with @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner!

Post lots of questions!  Everyone here is extremely helpful!
