Welcome to the forums and congrats on the move to Colorado! 

The Denver metro is as hot as any other market in the U.S. right now but luckily WE house hackers are still finding opportunities out there. You will find that a lot of single-family homes in the area are set up to be split into non-conforming duplexes. With a back entrance and a simple wall addition, many homes here can be separated into two units for pretty cheap. Depending on your comfort level, you can take multiple routes from there. Short-term rental, rent by the room, furnished medium-term rentals to traveling nurses, etc.

We are going to get together Thursday, February 24th at the Mr. Money Mustache HQ (mmmHQ) co-working space at 712 Main Street here in Longmont. The space as described by Mr. Money Mustache himself is "a nice rambling array of large and small rooms, set up much like a large coffee shop plus an outdoor patio."

Come join us for a great opportunity to network and meet like-minded people! This is a casual and low-pressure Meetup where everyone is welcome. If you are interested in real estate investing or the financial independence movement in general this is a great place to come meet others who are also seeking the same goals.

This Meetup will be similar to our holiday Meetup, as I will be providing the beverages. This will include a small variety of craft beers and wine. If you have a special preference, any dietary restrictions, or just feel like sharing, you are more than welcome to bring drinks of your choice.

The holidays are here and it's the perfect time of year to get together and make new friends!
