Hey welcome to BP. Good to see a fellow Long Islander. I live in Melville. You've come to the right place. BP is a great way to learn and make connections.

@Michael Leffelholz I use property managers. As an out of state investor I buy turnkey which works best for me. I am from Melville.

Thanks for all the replies. I currently own a property in Dallas and I am purchasing a few properties in Indianapolis. Since I am looking to buy multiple properties I was trying to decide if I should continue to stick with Indy or look at other markets as well.

@Rolanda Eldridge that is a good point. It's easier to stay on top of local trends if you focus on one area.

@Curt Davis that makes sense. That is why I prefer a turnkey company. I like the all-in-one approach.

I have a question for the out of state investors. Do you think it is better to purchase multiple properties in one market or diversify markets by purchasing one or 2 in various markets? For example if someone is buying 6 properties should they buy all 6 in one market or 2 properties in 3 different markets ?

Yes, of course. I thought it would make sense to solicit feedback from people other then the ones he recommends as a reference. No one would ever name a reference that would say something bad about them.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has worked with Mike D'Arrigo of Pinnacle Investment Properties. I am buying 1 or 2 properties from him and figured I'd see if anyone has any feedback on Mike or his company. I know he is a regular on this forum, so I figured maybe someone can offer some feedback.

I'm not looking for opinions on Turkey companies or properties, I am more interested in hearing about Mike and his company.

Thanks

Out of curiosity, what makes Memphis a better market? I don't own property in either of these markets but have analyzed properties in both Memphis and Indy and find that usually Indy has better cash flow. I'm curious, what am I missing.

@Mike D'Arrigo I was reviewing the properties on your site and noticed that many are in the $50K ballpark and show numbers for financed purchases. Do you have a lender that will make loans under $50K?

I use Wunderlist for my day to day tasks. I access it from my pc and my iphone. It works great and is very helpful.

I enjoyed the article.. This is a great idea. I would only deal with turnkey companies because I don't have time for DIY investing. I look forward to your list of trusted providers.
