Quote from @Debbie Weber:

Greetings, I am a new real estate investor is San Antonio, Tx. and would like some recommendations for dependable private money lenders to contact. I am purchasing single family homes for fix and flips in the San Antonio area. I have a great team to work with that includes a General Contractor, a transaction coordinator and a great real estate agent. I am a member of the Alamo REIA, The Flipping Mastery program through Jerry Norton and a member of the Pace Morby Gator program. There are so many PML options online but I would really like to connect with a PML that others have worked with and strongly recommend.
Thank you,
Debbie Weber

Hey Debbie I can help you get connected to our Sherman Bridge lending broker. They take your information and get terms from more than 10 lenders then show you the best options. Let's connect and see if we can do business together. Colleague request sent!

Hello BiggerPockets community. I am a real estate rookie looking to invest in BRRRR and Buy/Hold strategy.

Would anyone happen to know where I find my BP profile link? I am trying to get in to the Real Estate Rookie fb page as well.

Congratulations on making the decision to get into RE investing. I'd like to connect and talk about what your next step may be

Quote from @Derek Walther:

My wife and I are thrilled to begin our journey into real estate investment. I've been working for the same company for nearly two decades, but I was recently laid off. We see this as an opportunity to focus on real estate investment and start a new chapter in our lives. Initially, we plan to invest in lower-risk opportunities such as arbitrage to gain a better understanding of the market. Our ultimate goal is to invest in rental properties, which will not only secure our financial future but also provide a stable foundation for our children. While I search for a new job, I'm also studying to become a licensed real estate agent. This will help us enhance our investment ventures and gain more knowledge about the industry. We've set aside some capital specifically for investments and are now seeking guidance, mentorship, and possible partnerships to help us navigate this exciting but unfamiliar terrain. We're eager to learn and grow in this field and are willing to work hard to prove our dedication and earn our worth. We believe that Biggerpocket's expertise and support would be invaluable to us as we take these first steps. We hope that this introduction could lead to a mutually beneficial collaboration.

I am sorry to hear you were laid off but the good news is this door of Real Estate investing is wide open for you. So congratulation on making the decision to get started. It sounds like you guys are ready to go. The money, motivation and time. Let's connect

I’m Jeri and I’m new to real estate investing as of March 2024 I do a lot of research and legwork and the only asset that I have is that I own my house free and clear so I have $270,000 equity in my house but I really don’t have any cash so I need to find a PML or a lender who is very nice and understanding. I’m so happy to be here. Thank you. Have a great day.

Congratulations on making the decision to get into the world of real estate investing. What is your plan once you do have some cash available? Are you looing for single family residential or multifamily? Let's connect

Help me out

We need more information than that to effectively identify your struggles and pain points. I understand you are new. Do you have any cash available to buy an investment at this time? Do you have any background in real estate? Do you have an agent? What kind of work background do you have? How soon are you looking to get started?

Quote from @Rashad George:

I may be new to real estate investing but, I'm not new to the area. My journey here began with military orders to Joint-Base San Antonio-Lackland. I've since left the military but will always maintain connectivity to the area through investments. My goal for this post is to connect with other people and form symbiotic professional relationships if the professional chemistry is right. If there is a problem that you think I can help solve, feel free to reach out. Things that are within my skillset include: electrical (unlicensed), IT networking, cyber defense, and any handyman tasks. My preference for providing value to others is by use of my brains and not my brawn...or lack there of. If you're wondering, I'm a defense contractor but my skills and interests reach well beyond what the DoD has taught me. I'm looking forward to being a part of this awesome community :)

Congratulations on making the decision to get into RE. I too am a Marine Veteran real estate investor here in San Antonio. Let's connect

Quote from @Monique Mireles:

Hi everyone! My name is Monique. I'm from San Antonio, TX and very new to all of this. I had a couple of question.

First, I've been listening to the BP podcasts and I've read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. What other books, podcasts, resources would you recommend?

Lastly, I'm a current homeowner and have started to think about our next move. I'm not sure if I should sell or rent. Our home needs some work. I've considered taking a HELOC to do repairs but after reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I've second guessed that idea but leaving as is would negatively impact selling the home. What would you all suggest? It's a good home, in a growing neighborhood, near college campuses with community amenities.

I have a lot more questions but I'll pace myself as I dig into how this all works. I look forward to growing and learning from this community.

Thanks everyone!

Congratulations on making the decision to get into RE. I made the decision to work towards financial freedom through RE a few years ago when I bought my first investment. A duplex that I lived in and fixed until it was good then house hacked it. Live in the right side rent out the left side to cover 90% of the mortgage. I then rented my side out on airbnb while I was deployed. Now it is a stabilized long term rental on both sides for me. I see you're in San Antonio. Let's connect

@Timothy G Dunson thank you for your time. I want to be upfront, I am working with a RE (he helped me with my home last year). I am not sure though if he had experience with Rental Property investments.

That is perfectly fine sir. You can still work with that agent all day. We only deal with properties that we buy. He would not be able to see our inventory unless he already has a agreement to work with us. That being said anyone can see our rolling inventory after we have a quick meeting. I sent you a connect request!
