@Dave Skow Seller and attorney was last in touch 2 months ago, no payments were being made since 2014. The attorney is reaching out in all ways except carrier pigeons. The seller and I have both called but they wont speak to us....Here's the tricky part, the guy responsible for the lien is either in jail or has passed on. He was not even on title when the lien was placed. IDK...tryin my best but this is a hard one. Thanks David. 

@Matt Devincenzo thanks Matt. I am the buyer trying to assist my closing attorney getting in contact with the credit agency lien holder. Ya there's that option but hoping to avoid it, thank you again. -Dave 

@Dave Skow thanks Dave. My closing attorney has been trying to contact the collection agency that holds the lien for several months now and they are not responding at all. The seller wants to close but this is the last obstacle and I'm trying to source some kind of leverage option for them to get the lien holder to perform so we can close. I can't imagine it's legal to hold a closing up indefinitely. Any ideas?  Thanks again. -Dave 

If a lien holder is ghosting you and delaying closing what would you do? Thanks. -Dave
