I'm investing in Cleveland and I would probably have half my units empty if I didn't provide stove & fridge. Maybe it's time to look for a new PM.

Contact the CDC's in the neighborhood (metroWest or Detroit shoreway) and ask to get on their RFP list. They are selling units for way below market value.

It's all about tenant selection. I'm investing in Clark-Fulton, stockyards and Detroit shoreway and it's going very well. Houses are cheap and the cash flow is great.

@dorian

@Dorian Green, have you checked out what huntington bank offers?  I'm working with @Max Eble who has assisted me with LOC's. This bank has been the best at getting back with me quickly and is very responsive.

I'm working with @Max Eble from Huntignton bank. They have been Extremely helpful in securing a HELOC on my primary home. They are able to help first time investors also.

Lining up financing and finding bigger deals - more than 6 unit apartments.

@Garrett May , talk to the community development corp, metro west. You can get great deals when working with them in Clark Fulton/stockyard/Brooklyn center neighborhoods.
