I now have 3 properties in the western side. I live in NJ and have a great agent who is also a property manager.  Do your homework but Curbed Detroit can have a lot of info. Downtown boomed so much even I couldnt afford a condo there hahaha.

I purchased my second property in Detroit. CUTE and in good shape 3 BR Cape Cod (aka bungalow to Detroit folk)  I want to paint it a lovely colonial blue with white trim. Very simple. My agent/Property Mgr told me that all of Detroit has restrictions on house COLORS? In a Historic area I get it.  The shade I like is nothing crazy or bold. It's very "Pottery Barn-Ish"  He told me you need a PERMIT to paint something besides white, or beige etc??? Is this true?  I'm so disappointed.  Currently, it's an ugly faded gray. Any non sarcastic input is appreciated :)  attached is the Color I like. (NOT the actual house) hahaha

OK folks I hope SOMEONE On this thread can answer the question I desperately need an answer to.

I set up my LLC in NJ my state of residence. It was my intention to invest here BUT I got a great deal in MICHIGAN! Ok, so I understand that I have to " REGISTER" my current LLC in MI. BUT HOW OR WHERE DO I DO THAT??? DTE Energy won't even turn the electric on until then! :( My renovation crew is paying the 2nd floor tenant to run extention cords and use his power. HOW DO I REGISTER an existing LLC in another state. Thanks anyone who replies !! ~~
