This month's Lake Norman Real Estate Meetup is Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm and we are super excited to have one of our own regular attendees, Dan Schiermeyer, as our speaker this month!

Dan moved to Charlotte in 2016 and currently works as a Manufacturing Engineer for a Nascar team. He purchased his first house shortly after moving here, and utilized the house hacking style to live for free. In 2020, he purchased his first commercial real estate investment, Suds N’ Shine Car Wash, on Old Statesville Road. 7 months later, he purchased his first self storage facility! He has since been working on adding value to both investments as well as creating a plan for growth in the future that will allow him to exit his W2 job and continue to grow his small business portfolio to enjoy life on his time 👏

Dan is going to be walking us through why a car wash and self storage are GREAT investments, how he found and put the deals together, how they are performing, and what he would do different if he could do it again.

This is going to be such a valuable opportunity to learn about commercial real estate in addition to the residential investments we are all doing and I highly recommend you make sure you are in this room!

Hey @William Garland! Congrats on the purchase, that sounds awesome! Our other Airbnbs were SFR in the city so unfortunately aren't much comparison. I didn't get much farther than researching other glamping offerings in the mountains before COVID struck and derailed our original plan. I wish you the best of luck!

This month's Lake Norman Real Estate Meetup is Wednesday, March  16th at 6:30 pm and we will be meeting in person at Sabi Asian Bistro in Davidson (Exit 30) at 130 Harbour Place Drive, Davidson, NC 28036!

We are super excited to have Joe Saele and Eddie David with the J Galt Finance Suite as our speakers this month!

Both Joe and Eddie have extensive real estate investing experience across the board and their passion lies in helping other investors gain financial freedom through building a rock-solid EIN business credit profile so they can grow, scale, and compete with the big kids without risking their personal assets.

They are going to be walking us through their step-by-step system to set up our businesses credibly, establish a positive business credit profile and score quickly, obtain vendor, store, fleet, and cash credit in our business name with business reporting, and become more lendable by building our business credit, all without being linked to your SSN!

This is going to be a HUGE asset to add (or refine) in your business and I highly recommend you make sure you are in this room.

We look forward to seeing you guys next week! Please feel free to bring anyone you think may also enjoy this!

Noel will be highlighting Better Path Home's journey as a team into the wholesale world, how they specially crafted their unique selling process, and how they have earned the title as one of the most honest teams in the business.

She will also have an open Q & A session, so feel free to bring any questions you may have about their buying/selling process, how to make competitive offers to wholesalers, selling deals more efficiently, communicating with sellers, or any general questions about wholesaling!

Look forward to seeing you there!

The Lake Norman Real Estate Meetup is Wednesday, January 19th, at 6:30 pm and we will be meeting in person at Sabi Asian Bistro in Davidson (Exit 30) at 130 Harbour Place Drive, Davidson, NC 28036!

We are kicking the new year off with a topic that is essential to all of our businesses - funding our deals! This month, we have Tommy Whiteside from Lima One Capital coming to speak with us! Lima One Capital was founded in 2011 to serve real estate investors in need of capital. Since then, Lima One has expanded to a national footprint with a team of over 200 in-house professionals who oversee day-to-day operations and funds over $1 billion annually.Tommy has been helping investors finance single and multifamily investment properties since 2017. He has been involved in numerous transactions since then including financing single family rehabs, ground up construction, rental portfolios and more. During his tenure at Lima One, he helped grow the wholesale and correspondent sales channels before moving to the company’s national Business Development team in Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining Lima One, Tommy graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC with degrees in Business Administration and German Studies.

We look forward to seeing you guys in a couple of weeks! Feel free to bring anyone you think may also enjoy this! As always, if you have any questions email me at [email protected] or text me at (980) 621-3906.

Hey Everyone!

This month's Lake Norman Real Estate Meetup is Wednesday, July 21st at 6:30 pm and we will be meeting in person at Sabi Asian Bistro in Davidson (Exit 30) at 130 Harbour Place Drive, Davidson, NC 28036!

This month we are excited to have Ryan Herting from I Fund Cities joining us. Ryan is a serial entrepreneur, seasoned investor, and real estate lender looking to shake things up in the real estate industry. In addition to his extensive real estate portfolio consisting of multiple asset classes, Herting has scaled many successful startups. Currently, he is the Co-founder and CEO of I Fund Cities, an alternative lending company born from the desire to provide investors with reliable capital and a lending experience that’s all about speed, transparency, and partnership.

I Fund Cities was built by investors for investors and they get that dealing with lenders can sometimes not be a pleasant experience. They focus more on hustle, grit, and creative thinking, rather than suit and tie. Their goal is to be your “partner,” there for you to relate to, lean on, and learn from no matter what issue may arise during the course of your deal. IFC has made big waves in the world of real estate investing by providing a full-service private lending platform with a focus on fix and flips 1-4 units, new construction 1-4 units, small multifamily, and long-term investor rental loans.

Ryan will be discussing what the lending process looks like with them, how they differentiate themselves by building relationships with their investors, how they help you analyze your deals, and more!

We would love to have everyone attend but totally understand if you are not comfortable coming out yet.

Look forward to seeing y’all in a couple of weeks!

Hey @Garrett Kroll! Unfortunately we did not, we could not get everything lined up in time with all the COVID stuff hitting our primary lenders and decided not to move forward. Still love the idea and I wish you the best of luck!
