Glamping Resort - Where to Start?
Hey everyone!
We are in Charlotte, NC and have come across the opportunity to purchase 22 acres in the NC mountains (2 miles from a main mountain town) with a preexisting cabin in beautiful condition, a pavilion with a small kitchen, one glamping site, and an outhouse with a shower and toilet. The property also backs up to a national forest that allows hiking, hunting, horseback riding, etc. We have a few Airbnb's and have had a lot of success (and fun) with them and are playing around with the idea of creating a sort of glamping resort. After running basic numbers, I think we could still cashflow with just the cabin and the glamping tent to start, but obviously want to add on to that.
I know there are about a million and one things that would need to happen for this to work, but wanted to see if anyone has done something similar and could lend some advice on obtaining financing, working through planning/permitting, best structures to use (yurts, treehouses, etc.) or anything else that might be of value.
Thanks in advance!

WOW! If you don’t buy it, I will!
Right after I buy that condo right next-door to that guy in South Carolina who is cash flowing majorly on the condo next door and wasn’t sure whether he should buy the highly profitable condo next-door to double his profits.
It’s almost like some people are afraid to be rich. Maybe this is the Bernie Sanders effect? Rich is ok, i promise!
