in ohio you must have four years experience in structural framing. Not sure how they determine that but you can then apply for the license. I looked into it last year but I wouldn't meet the requirements so I haven't pursued it any further. I wonder if having a bs in interior design/construction management would help with qualifications?

I had the same thing at one of our places. The stalks had been cut and "poisoned" but I don't know what with. However the roots still remained. I would advise cutting them and digging up all the roots you can or they will just come back. Good news is I don't think they grow very deep as much as wide like any other grass. However like a tree they are very tough and sharp so renting a bobcat or something would be Money well spent . Good luck 😉

She a good tenant but I really feel we could have charged more currently the rent is 925/mo. She wants to get out of the lease but not having ac units is no grounds for termination.

We have a double the we just finished renovations on and were planning on providing central ac for the tenants. My hvac guy thought the cost would be around 3,500 for both sides. But now the cost is closer to 6k. We told one tenant we would put them in but after getting the new estimate we feel it's over and above what we can afford. After explaining this the tenant wants to move out. What would you do ?

unless you can get 10% coupons for every visit its best to just go with those big box cards. Every thing else I've seen is only for a few months or less cash back. Plus you can get discounts at the pro desk if you ask.

it very well could be. I live in Astoria and sunny side but we lived in large buildings so water was included because there's no way to have separate meters for everyone. But it didn't sound like that was your case so that's why I asked .
