Hey Eric we have a monthly local meet up with local investors. I have an off market deal that I could put you in contact with the owner. It is a new construction quad in a great area of down. I personal purchased one of the four being built with my VA loan. If you are interested shoot me a PM.

Good luck with Clarksville and almost anywhere in Tennessee it can be hard to get into great deals right now. 

Hey Rojon welcome to the BP community! I am a local Clarksville real estate investor and also have a V/R in the Gatlinburg area. There is a small group of us that get together and primarely discuss the local market. Most of us are buy and hold investors and each person brings something to the table. Would love to have you at the next meet up! 

I live in Hopkinsville ky and do not see a lot of population growth in the near future. The down town is getting a face lift and factories are not going anywhere so you will not see a decline. Clarksville is booming because Tn is much more military friendly. Hopkinsville is very much the good old boy area and they like to keep it that way.

Hey BP I currently own one V/R in the Gatlinburg TN area and I'm curious about Chattanooga V/R's. Does anyone on here have a house they use for Airbnb or VRBO in Chattanooga? I'm Wondering how hard it is to find cleaning crews and what not. I know they have made it extremely hard to have Airbnb in the nashville area, so does Chattanooga seem to be friendly to the idea of Airbnb and VRBO? Any knowledge on this would be awesome!

Hey BP! I am currently active duty army and just got back to the United States this Saturday. Since then I have closed on a cabin in Gatlinburg for a v/r shout out to Avery Carl for all the help! I am also under contract on a quad scheduled to be completed this December in Clarksville Tennessee. Thanks to Justin Cory for all the incite and help with this one. Three months ago I barely knew anything about real estate. I dived into the BiggerPockets forums and started soaking up as much information as I could along with listening to the Podcasts. Don't let time or distance stop you from starting I was halfway around the world working 14hr days 7 days a week and I still managed to put in five offers on cabins and met people are hear willing to share their knowledge and time. Im also looking forward to getting my real estate license at the end of this month while I finish out my two years of service with the army.
