I have had tenants that I have given rent breaks to, paid their utilities and I have pushed the boundaries of playing nice. I got to be honest if they are taking advantage of me and the over protective rules then I will dance around the word eviction and tell them they need to leave. When I know you got a raise and more hours yet you skip out on rent for two months while your daughter tells me your money goes to keep your adult son high so he doesn’t get “sick”. I’m good. A free house is only putting drugs in his veins. GET OUT

Only one house hack and yes I still live in it. I make $20,000 a year for it and it’s gone up $125,000 in the four years I have owned it. I own two other buildings but they were owner finance deals. Putting a lot of sweat into them and it’s starting to pay off

@April Dagonese you need to realize that people do not stop these things until they have became so filled with drama that they hate the activity. It’s called rock bottom. Kicking him out will make him hate drinking a little bit more and move him towards rock bottom. Although they may not know it yet, making them responsible for their actions is the best thing you can do for an addict.
