@Stephan Cheek Nice man!  It's funny how people say California is impossible to invest in.  With patience and the ability to move on something, ANYTHING is possible here.  Great job!

@Frank Nabors - Great job!  I consider myself as  @Jay Hinrichs calls it, a "niche agent".

@Stephan Cheek - Great job!  Do you mind if I ask where this was?  In the Sac area?

@Vineet Bindal - Hey Vineet, we have clients looking in the Bay Area and surrounding areas for cash flowing properties. It is up to you to figure out the best way to maximize the rental income to generate cash flow. Whether this means an ADU, basement, loft, or wall to split the rooms, it is doable in the area.

@Daniel Gima - Congrats on looking into and taking action to learn and research about real estate investing.

Here is an article one of our clients wrote detailing his experience House Hacking in San Francisco which as we all know is a very affordable sleepy community ;)

House Hacking is a great way to get started and it really is up to you to find the highest and best use of your property and maximize the rental income.

@Bryan S. - The Brentwood meetups are becoming more and more consistent.  Usually from 7-9 pm on the 23rd of the month but I can set you up to be notified on when/where they are.

Thanks!

@Brian Garlington @Dj Larsen@Kris Marmol

Hey Guys!  We hold meetups pretty regularly in Brentwood.  We had about 37 people last time and it was pretty informal.  We will be holding them pretty regularly in Brentwood and the East Bay

For now, here's one scheduled in San Jose...

@Jorge Rodriguez Awesome! BP is the perfect place to get to know people as well as have resources at your fingertips. SFH and flips are possible anywhere as long as the purchase price is correct. Equity from a primary residence is a great way to start to build a portfolio.

Good luck and keep us informed on how it's going!

@Joshua Salazar Welcome to BP!  This is a great resource for everyone just starting out as well as seasoned investors.

I would recommend calling and talking to all kinds of different players in your area.  See what they are doing, get familiar with the lingo they use, and generally put yourself on the map.

Also, start thinking of yourself as an investor and not someone looking for a hobby.  Your mindset and attitude will be a huge factor in your success.

Good luck and continue to check in here with your wins!
