Hello BP community. I am trying to get some information about flipping mobile homes. Any one in AZ or anywhere investing in mobile homes. Is it a good idea? I have found some reasonable prices that's had me thinking I should purchase one. This would be my first investment, so I want to make sure I'm going in the right path.Thank you to everyone for the advise.

Welcome to BP community @Robert Kelm. BP is a great place to network and to learn from the community. I am a new soon to be investor to the Fix n Flip business and I have learned a lot here on BP. Wish you the best in your investments here in AZ.

@Chris Music I agree with you about the hard money, at this point I have only found lenders that require 20% down and I have been trying to find private lenders but its very difficult because I am a newbie. Any other suggestions? Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate all the help from the BP community.

I knew that FHA would require to pass an inspection but I was not aware that I would have to occupy the home for a year before I would be able to sell it. Thank you very much for the useful information.

Hello @Mark Payne, I am also new to REI and I have learned many useful information that is preparing me for my first investment . I think this site is great and people are very helpful. You should listen to the POD cast to get some helpful hints to REI. Well, wish you the best and good luck. Happy investing.

Andy

Hello everyone thank you for taking the time to read my post. Well, like I have mention on other post that I am trying to get my first fix_n_flip soon. I have been looking for some financing, so I went to my bank and applied for and FHA loan and they qualified me. I know that the bank is not going to provide me with any cash for remodel but I am going to partner with a friend that is willing to provide the financing. My question is, would this be a good idea and legit way to finance my first investment through an FHA loan?

Thank you,

Andy
