@Elizabeth Wilson Thank you for your response. She did not have home insurance at the time of the incident.

@Jim Adrian. Thank you. Very useful information.

Hello BP community. I am a wholesaler in the Phoenix market and  I have been talking to a homeowner that wants to sell her fire damaged property. But I am not sure how to estimate rehab cost for this property. I have never worked with a fire damages so I have no idea where to start. So I am asking BP community if there are any recommendations on where to start and or any contractors that remodel fire damaged properties that I can contact to get rehab estimates. Well, thank you in advance and everyone have a wonderful day.

@Dawn Jett @Lawrence Ferguson Thank you very much.

@Marvin McTaw Thank you, well the experience of door knocking was interesting for us. I am a person who does not really not a people person, but I know that in RE talking to people is the number one thing and I need to get use to it. I had to and I am really getting out of my comfort zone. The First time we went door knocking we were shadowing another investor, couple days later we went on our own. I was Really nervous. After the 5th house I started to get a bit more comfortable. So this weekend and all next week we have door knocking in our plans. While we drive to houses to door knock we also write down addresses of homes that look vacant or in distress. Sometimes we just drive around for a few hours to near by neighborhoods looking for potential investments. Overall the experience was great and we think we are going to continue door knocking because it is more on a personal level. Good luck to all of you.

@Neil Patel welcome to BP. I am also new to REI. I think I have listened to almost all the pod cast that are available here on BP. I also read both books on flipping houses and how to estimate rehabs by J.Scott. Very informative books. I would suggest you to start there. There is a lot of information to learn and it might be overwhelming at times but just start with the easy steps. Well good luck.
