@Greg Thibeaux I just relocated to Pittsburgh last January and picked up a flip in upper lawrenceville. Ran into knob and tube and had to do whole rewire so I decided to do a complete gut which was not the original plan. I'm still a couple months from hitting the market (doing work myself) and then I'm jumping into the rental scene as well. I'm just trying to decide if SFR or multi unit are a better investment.

I'm currently finishing up my first flip in Pittsburgh, in upper lawrenceville. I'm looking to take 150k and pick up some rental properties but I'm going back and forth on sfr or multi unit. I'm definitely looking to put in sweat equity either way. I feel like there's great opportunity on SFR to pick up some great appreciation. Also I'm a cash buyer and my credit sucks so that limits me a bit. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

@Anthony Angotti

So I'm looking to pick up a SFR for $50,000-$60,000 for a rehab flip and a 2-4 unit BRRRR property. Any suggestions on best locations for BRRRR on multi units and price range? Thanks

I really appreciate that information! Now for rehab/Flips and not rentals is the east side as attractive?
