We bought into the RVM hype and got a bunch of irate people telling us to never call them again. No One and I mean No One likes robo calls regardless if you are in dire need to sell your home.  RVM is a quick way to ruin your company's reputation....if you going to contact people, you need to call them.  Build rapport with potential leads and dig deep to qualify a lead....sending a robo RVM is not going to get you any decent leads.  Thats our two cents....gotta put in the work.   Don't let these guru's sell you their rebranded products.

@David Dachtera right on David.....my point is that Redfin even though its a money losing enterprise at this time is that its also a well capitalized business. We understand that when a company goes public that its shareholders/bond holders are going to demand a certain rate of return on their investment over time. Our concern is that they have a national brand and with that brand it certainly will help drive leads their way. As you well know, REI's are in the leads business.

Hello everyone.....happy 4th of July!

I've just come across an article regarding Redfin and a new service they are offering called Redfin NOW. Its a service in where they buy a house directly from a homeowner at a discounted price...while promising a quick payoff to the owner. Does this sound familiar fellow REI's? How will this affect our businesses when a big player comes in and tries to mirror our home buying process? Redfin is well capitalized and they've just recently filed to go public with a scheduled IPO.

We'd like to know how BP members are going to be affected by the potential of this bill passing?
