Hi Nathan, It is great to see your enthusiasm towards Real Estate and very impressive to see your motivation towards building some generational wealth. I have used out of state investing as one of the strategies to build a portflio. If that is something you want to discuss, feel free to reach out.

Hi Dan, I can understand the pain of being in a higher priced real estate market. I have been in Northern Virginia and it has got really hard to invest here. I decided to invest out of state in 2020 and chose Cleveland as the market. Initially, I started with a couple of turnkey companies that helped me get started with a decent asset and a properly screened tenant. Since then, it has helped me to scale the portfolio by building a team in that city and creating that passive income. I would love to connect and see if i can add value to your goals. Feel free to reach out.

Hi Alex, I am a huge fan of out of state investing and Long Distance Real Estate Investing was one of the first books I read before I built my portfolio in Cleveland. One of the strategies I used was working with a couple of turnkey companies and getting started in a mid-west market. I would love to connect and help out so feel free to reach out.

Hi Marc, good to connect with you again. As we discussed before, turnkey investing is one of the easiest ways to get started if you have a busy W2 job or want to explore out of state investing. I have invested with Rent to Retirement and I have only read good things about Rent to Retirement on these forums. I would recommend another conversation with @Zach Lemaster if you are still doubtful about investing with them. I am also available for a quick call if I can help with your goals.

I have found value investing in Cleveland, OH because it is home to Cleveland Clinic, lot of good neighborhoods, landlord friendly laws, stable appreciation and good cash flowing properties. There are also abundant opportunities for small multi family and SFH. I have been able to scale up to 12 doors in 2 years so definitely recommend this area. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss.

I have been listening to the Rent to Retirement podcast recently and they have been heavily selling properties in Akron, OH and I have read some really good reviews about their experience. Feel free to reach out to me or @Zach Lemaster and you can get started there.

Good luck!

Hi James, as you might have heard multiple times on the bigger pockets podcast that "the best time to buy real estate was yesterday" , buying today is always the better option. Personally, I bought a rental property before my primary residence and it has helped me scale the portfolio but there is no wrong answer here. If it fits your budget and you are open to exploring investing out of state, turnkey investing in a good strategy that I used so feel free to reach out if you want to discuss.
