Renatus... Is it Worth the $20k? yea.. the network and Education.. ok.. whats the difference? they have a Network Marketing Comp Plan Associated with it. local Investors.. whats the difference between that amd a REIA? or a Ron Legrand? and the REIA is $250 a Year. i Love Real Estate. and Marketing... But if You're in Renatus Was it Really Worth it? or Are you just trying to make since of the $20k? More than that if you finance. 18% interest. Renatus Claikms to have superior knowledge... i just want to know is it really the Real Deal? Everyone in Renatus will say yes.. its 100% hands down the best. I'm looking for an unbaised critique about it. Thanx Guys ;)

@Jay Hinrichs

I was presented with the Renatis plan also. I would have only done the $2000 Essentials program and split that with a partner. $1000 Investment for me and the community that comes with it.

Since you don’t recommend this kind of thing what would you recommend for someone starting out who wants mentorship?

for a cuople grand and you split it that seems very doable.. Just dont want to blow 20 to 40k ifyou dont have that money and its just a small fraction of your cash reserves.

Quote from @Earl Co:

I am financially savvy and frugal, and although I already have two years of experience with two multi-family short-term and long-term residential rental properties, I recently bought a Renatus education package because I found value in the local network and the education itself. I don't know what I don't know and the lessons I learned so far have already paid for itself. A lot of content from other companies don't go into as much detail or don't provide enough value for the cost. I'm previously self-educated but the Essentials package I signed up for has been so far so good that I will be getting the Advanced Investor Training packages soon. I've saved more than I've spent from the lessons I learned in taxes and the more hours I did not have to spend with a CPA. There are things I learned that I'd have to spend countless hours digging through YouTube and BiggerPockets to find something reliable. At least I know the info I'm getting is good.

People are mentioning the (COMPLETELY OPTIONAL) network marketing side of the business but in reality I'd rather a company pay its students to share their experience than spend 70% of their revenue on advertising. You do not have to market the education to become successful in real estate investing; the education itself helps you keep and grow your wealth. That said, I can't help but recommend it to people I meet who want to get involved and do what I'm doing, because they provide a business system that works. Real estate is a team sport and your network is your net worth so the more people you interact with, the more deals and partnerships you can make. That said, I always encounter people who always wanted to get into real estate investing but did not know how nor did they have the time, patience, resources, and self-discipline to do research on their own. Especially for those people I meet, I can now recommend an education service that works.

Renatus is not accredited by the BBB, meaning they did not pay to get the A rating. BBB doesn't take complaints down, they keep it up along with the status and resolution. As in any investment, do your own research and read every review. The company has nothing to hide, and that's one of the things I like about them. I paid for a product and got more than what I paid for, so overall I am very happy with my purchase. Feel free to message me if you have additional questions and I'm happy to provide more clarifying information.

How much value did you get from the Essentials package? Did it help you do deals? I am considering getting the Essentials and the networking with the local group until I can get my first deal. Do you think there’s value in doing that?

for a cuople grand and you split it that seems very doable.. Just dont want to blow 20 to 40k ifyou dont have that money and its just a small fraction of your cash reserves.

Thanks for the quick response! It’s there another mentoring and community situation that you would recommend? I’m in the Chicago/NW Indiana area

Quote from @Claudiu Peter:

Hello BP community ! Just a quick clarification for all that put the weight in their feed back as the "EDUCATION".

Before i start I DON"T SELL NOTHING TO NOBODY < JUST MY EXPERIENCE IN THE DAVIE,  FL COMMUNITY!!!! If you see it / or experience a different way well i sure is possible! However I am not a "Cheerleader" and i wont be one , but i learn to cut to the noise and find the best of each situation ! so here we go the results

YES Renatus is an Education company and yes it cost money and perhaps you could find at least 50% of the info online... But you are all missing the point in Here .. you are not paying just for the Education/ Information you are paying is not just for the education (Even if all their instructors are Accredited Investors/ Practitioners , and they are making the money in the same field that they are teaching **** Google any of the names in the list and you will find successful business owners, lawyers, CPA, Financial Advisors , ) is for the communities (more the 40 + communities deal all over US) . You are paying for the support oft he Company communities and even more... ( Contacts, forms, properties, all successful members cell phone ( my fav one - any time o got a question i got a local person can meet me and check on the deal together ) ( JV for deals) .. or EPIC E.ducation , P. roperties , I.come , C. ommunities . .. And yes you could invest the money for a deal ... but lets be STRAIGHT . with 2k you get the basic education / foot in the door. How many deal you can get with 2k? let me just tell you like this i paid 2 k.. the first 2 mo i recover my money with their Referral program and last and most important i got 2 deals as flip and 3 wholesales in 2 year all inside of the community ) all of you just ... PURE MATH! ... Give me you feedback i got plenty of Proven facts and Tax Returns to prove every work i said

So you're saying that the "2 deals as flip and 3 wholesales in 2 year all inside of the community" were while you still were only on the Essentials for $2K?

I agree with what most people are saying here. You can learn everything for free through BiggerPockets and YouTube and you can find great investment properties and investment partners through websites like HigherCaps.

I am not defending Renatus... no idea who he is.

But people, try to learn a lesson from my post here.

Stop telling others that you can learn everything for free on Youtube.

Youtube is filled with opinions! Not because you can learn anything and everything does it mean it is correct information. I feel like I shouldn't HAVE to say something so obvious.

Do a search on how to generate leads on YouTube.

67 ways to get motivated sellers. All CRAP.

Lists.... crap

Software.. crap.

How many of you are following the "free YouTube" advice given? Millions. How many of you are successful millionaires? Not that many right? So something doesn't add up there now does it.

If lists "worked" how come you need to send 3000 mailers calls or texts to get ONE contract signed? That is a 0.033% success rate. So in other words, 99.96%  of the people you are targeting are NOT motivated sellers.

But "you can learn anything for free" right?

My advice to everyone is, to only make claims when you have the data to back up those claims. The world would be SUCH a better place.

How many of you are learning from YouTube? How many millions do most of you have?

The biggest loudmouths here against mentorships or courses are the ones that are unsuccessful! Have you noticed that? I am not telling you that you all need courses. I am telling you, there is nothing wrong with them. So don't be ashamed or afraid to get a membership, as long as what they are saying is based on data.

interesting comments, thank you....to quote a person, if you think education is expensive, try ignorance and mistakes. in real estate, there is no bottom and no ceiling to mistakes and earnings, you can make and loose millions to billions, even grant cardone has lost it all which he has admitted repeatedly. BTW Grant Cardone charges $25,000 yearly (not 1x for a lifetime+) to be a part of his 'rei network club'. No joke, you can verify. At $20,000 for lifetime access you have the option to will to your descendants, 2 generations at $10,000 each is cheap,  (same price for over 15 years, they just recently increased prices) and no upsell when they upgrade all the education for you because laws and regulations change so they keep education current, plus access to a network of investors and practitioners you will need for your team(what's this worth to you?), plus payment plans is a heck cheaper than cardone's program at $25,000 every year or some other guru for $40,000....Expensive is relative. So you'd rather be penny wise million dollar foolish. I'm speaking from experience. I've lost $500,000, opportunity cost, time, blood n sweat  . what rei or events allow you to pass down the education to your family as an option? - cardone does not do this. What is passing down the education in your will to your family worth? No university education can do this, not even at $250,000 degree from Harvard. Give your family 1 fish to eat 1 meal  or teach them how to fish to eat for a lifetime?  The instructors in Renatus cannot teach unless they have earned millions in real estate investing and are active investors.

Honestly every one of them will tell you they loose money when they teach renatus classes.  They teach because they believe in making a difference, in honesty & integrity in todays fallen world . They offer value to people who are committed with desire to transform their lives for their family and legacy. They do not take advantage of people and trust me I've seen and experienced my share of liars and unworthy people who claim honesty and integrity but steal and scammed me some even went to jail which does not get me back what i lost in opportunity, time and money for me and my family. Talk about regrets.

In hindsight, $20,000 is a helluva lot cheaper for multiple lifetime access for me & my family than $500,000 losses gone with the liars and thieves of this world.  $20,000 for 2 generations is $10,000 for each generation that's cheaper legacy than Harvard or some other guru ..... or the ability to pay off mortage and student loan debt to save $50,000 in interest - that's nearly 3x the cost of the education in return for your money. Not to mention debt free freedom for you and your family.  The right education and people with integrity & honesty is important, too many liars out there. It's not just free education or scammy MLM pyramid as some of you like to label - so you'd go to a surgeon who learned surgery for free? Don't think so. At the end of the day, nothing is free, you will pay the price for free in expensive mistakes or lost opportunity cost or time lost or money or all the above.   There's a price to pay for every decision we make - right wrong or indifferent.

So let's not be quick to judge before understanding the networth value add to your life inside of this company. Look at the rich/wealthy - what do they have that you don't? multiple streams of income and not just one, for starters -- Robert Kiyosaki, Warren Buffet, snoop dog, vanilla ice rapper, Will Smith, Rockefeller family has multi generational wealth that the family will never have to worry about money. Can you say the same? no average jo blo can save their way to wealth, society keeps people in debt, ergo amortization of debt....buying and hoarding stuff(in storage you pay busting out of your garage no less ), stuff you don't need rotting in storage or does not have value other than cashflow for storage unit business owners. BTW most of you investors know storage is big good cashflowing business. Your home is not an asset it is a liability - unless it is income producing for you.

yeah you can get educated for free on you tube or wherever, teach yourself enough to hang yourself then what? its risk price, but hey, it's your money to loose not going to stand in your way. people don't know what they don't know, investing  thinking they know what todo 100%, then loose big on 1 deal give up and say, never doing that again, real estate not a good investment. Most people are brainwashed by the retail financial world we live in, not educated enough to be smart or savvy that there are smarter better ways to invest we don't know yet. So why is Warren Buffet or Robert Kiyosaki or Grant Cardone rich. Why is Rockefeller multi generationally wealthy. Clearly they know something we do not. What makes you judge others, or think you are  better than rockefeller, kiyosaki, or warren buffet or ---- ?.

To ditto Mr. Hullman's comments, "Even the savviest of investors have joined Renatus and share stories of gratitude http://3030-vision.com"... and Mr. Keith Pinster" people say MLM because you don't know. Sure they allow students to market and share the education products then get paid handsomely for that effort. Powur solar does the same and a few others. So is referring your REI club an MLM pyramid scam now too? people judge what they dont understand - who died and made you judge jury and executioner?

Check Mark Kohler's credentials cpa, attorney, teaches taxes to CPA's across the nation?. You want free on you tube, Mark Kohler's a lawyer and cpa tax accountant with more credentials than any of us put together in 1 lifetime. How about Mat Sorensen who is top guru for all things IRA investing...look them up before you knock down Renatus and brand them a cult. Grant Cardone is gimmicky sales pushy, worst at a higher price point and charges every year $25,000 to be in the 'rei club network'? Not knocking down Cardone, yeah he is rich and all with an agenda to his program. You cannot pass down Cardone's program to your family, but you can keep paying $25,000 yearly... Just saying..

Mistakes is part of this journey some more than others, what you do with mistakes is up to you - learn to be better with costly mistakes rather than get the right education first  or be bitter(many end up here, jaded because of misplaced righteousness and own undoing)? so test drive before you buy full price is ok, for $50 veritas.renatus.rocks . Go ahead, it's cost of dinner, no one is going to force you to buy anything else, just try it out for 7 days, no upsell, no sales pitch, no obligation test drive, for real. just sharing. The system will verify valid email and phone so that you are notified with reminders only on test drive, your information is not shared outside of renatus.

Is there a lot of education? Yes but will you practically be able to watch it all? No . Is it a scam? To me it was. Let me explain - when I started I was ready to invest 20K as someone who truly wanted to be in real estate. However, not one single soul told me “invest in the small package of 2K” and then you can always make more. Let me tell you why- because they get commission so they don’t actually give two craps about you - they care about their commissions. They had me open up about 8 business cards and I had to pay extra to an external company just to help me open them up. Furthermore, every single damn time I asked a question to the person who brought me - they would say “did you watch the videos? Watch it the answer is there. OHH let me tell you about the REAL dirt - they will want to get into a deal with you to “help you” but Ofcourse you have to come up with ALL the costs because it’s “your deal.” They truly know how to speak as they are great at it. Anyways, I worked my butt off for a while to pay for the 20K so PLS if you want to go to college atleast you’ll have a degree to show for it. DO NOT for this scam. I learned SO much from actually purchasing a property than I ever did watching videos. Also, we live in world where EVERY THING is online SO please just YouTube it. You are smart so please don’t fall for scams like I did.

I went to a Renatus meeting. I had already been in the business for 4 years. This was in February 2020 right before the pandemic. I honestly felt like Jim Jones and David Koresh were sitting in the next room ready to come out.

The system will verify valid email and phone so that you are notified with reminders only on test drive, your information is not shared outside of renatus.

no real estate business will be operating for your lifetime.. they all have a shelf life.. thinking this is going to pass down to kiddos is just crazy and tugging at heart strings BS

interesting comments, thank you....to quote a person, if you think education is expensive, try ignorance and mistakes. in real estate, there is no bottom and no ceiling to mistakes and earnings, you can make and loose millions to billions, even grant cardone has lost it all which he has admitted repeatedly.

Truth. The children of Elizabeth Holmes probably thought they would inherit Theranos and it didn't last past well their birth!
