Brett farve will be a bust? What kind of stament is that? He cant be a bust he has already broken several records and is considerd by many to be in the top 5 qb's of all time. SO its impossible for him to be a bust. Will he strugle I think so. Bust no way

I've never been a big Farve fan but the guy is a stud. I agree, it won't be easy learning new players and a new offense but he's got enough experience and passion for the game to make up for his age. I don't think he will be a top Fantasy producer or anything but he can't do any worse than Chad.

Still doesnt have a line....which is why Pennington did so bad. Pennington has potential. Favre will be out a concussion in week 4

I agree with Michael. I believe he will be out soon with an injury. I can't understand why someone with his money would not want to retire at the top.

He should have retired so everyone could always remember him as a Packer.

What if??? After all this, he gets blind sided by some crazy defensive linbacker during a blitz  , and he ends up in a wheel chair.

his success is more dependant on his motivation...he was ferguson and faneca protecting has blind side, mangold at center, brandon moore & damien WOODY. solid o-line. better move i think for pennington to thrive in miami too.

    Random thoughts:
The Jets O-line has improved quite a bit from last year.

Farve makes average receivers better - Cotchery and Coles will throw up a total of 1500 yds between them

-Patriots have the EASIEST schedule this year, I bet they get beat by the Chargers in Jan in a rematch

I agree. However, I don't see why Farve retired in the first place, only to be back shortly thereafter.

I think it is great to see a guy with gray hair and heart still playing in the NFL with kids half his age. The guy is pretty amazing.

By the end of the first quarter in the Pats game, the Jets became the farvorites in the AFC east.

No one in the rest of the country cares about the AFC East.

The real news is that the Bears BEAT the Colts!

I’m happy I don’t have to face him twice a year.
