If you are considering to invest in other cities for long term rentals, I personally suggest looking into the Columbus OH market. My out-of-state clients love it here because they are able to purchase deals at a very cheap price point and still meets the 1% rule. The macroeconomics is great - lots of population growth and job growth that's why the rental market is very strong. Happy to connect and answer any questions you may have.

Cleveland is more of a cash flow market. I've seen a lot of growth in Columbus, both in property values and job opportunities—something I've experienced firsthand. If you're looking for investment properties, say multifamilies under $200k, Cleveland is a market worth exploring. It offers affordable options with good potential for rental income and long-term growth. Let me know how I can help!

Hey Joseph, welcome to BP! Cleveland is a great city for LTRs. Places like Lakewood, Old Brooklyn, Brooklyn Centre, Edgewater, Jefferson and West Boulevard are some places that'll be good to check out.
