Hey Erich, the Midwest has several promising real estate markets for investment depending on your goals. For steady cash flow, check out Cleveland OH. It offers strong potential for rental income. If you're more focused on appreciation, Columbus will be a great option due to its growing population and favorable economic conditions.

Good morning Simon: what is the best phone number for me to contact you? I work with an Equity Group of investors and in market for Multifamily deals, Property type B & C.

Hey Monir, I'll send it over. Let's connect.

Quote from @Nick Lanza:

Hi - I'm an out of state investor looking to build my team in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm looking for property managers, agents, lenders and licensed general contractors. I'm currently looking for SFH 3+bed/2+bath over 1000 sq ft for long term rentals, mostly turn key but would consider small cosmetic rehabs in A to C+ neighborhoods.

I'd also be interested in connecting with other real estate investors that are currently in the area.

Hey Nick, welcome to BP! I've got a list of PMs and Contractors as well as Lenders who've been a big help for my investors when acquiring properties. Let's connect and I'll send it your way.

Quote from @Deal H.:

After many years of analysis paralysis, I'm finally in a place where I'm ready to make my first real estate investment. My plan is to use my HELOC from my current primary residence as the down payment. For someone in my situation, is it better to purchase a Turnkey property or a fixer upper using the BRRRR strategy?

The BRRRR strategy can be profitable but it requires extensive knowledge, trustworthy contractors and careful market analysis. For a beginner, it will be wise to start with a property that requires less hands-on management, like a turnkey property or one needing only minor repairs. This approach will help you gain experience and build trust with local professionals while minimizing risk. Hope this helps!

Hey Anna, Cleveland actually has a strong Section 8 market with high demand from voucher holders. I can connect you to my go to PMs and Lenders if you need it.

Hi @Simon Ashbaugh - Would you be able to share your list with me as well? I have some friends looking for a PM in Cleveland right now. I'd love to share the list along to help them out.

I'd be happy to. Let's connect.

Hey Elias, house hacking is a popular and effective strategy. It's a great way to get started specially if you have a solid long-term plan. If you're beginning with limited funds, consider FHA loans that offer lower down payment requirements. Also, focus on markets with strong job growth, affordability and economic development. All the best!

I’m an investor in the Cleveland area, and I’ve recently had a less-than-ideal experience with my current property management company. They’ve been slow to respond to maintenance issues, and communication has been a real struggle, leading to tenant dissatisfaction and increased vacancies.

I'm now looking to switch to a new company but have heard mixed reviews about most of the PMs in this market. Reliability, Transparency, Clear and Regular Communication and good tenant management are at the top of my list.

Does anyone have recommendations for a solid property management company in Cleveland that they've had good experiences with? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Not every PM in Cleveland does work on all locations. It would be good if you could specify which area you're looking for.

hey, thanks for the reply, mostly its Euclid, Maple heights and Garfield heights

No worries, I can introduce you to my go to PM. Let's connect.
