Official diary of the Summit
I open this topic for all of us who not be able to come to the summit.
Summit attendees please write your daily experiences in this daybook maybe with some pictures if possible. So we can participate with you :).
And now, please enjoy!

I love this thread!! Keep the stories & pics coming.
Rich Weese, I recently visited your website, and I can't tell you how inspiring it was to read your story, especially being a southern California native. Thank you so much for sharing and keep the Summit updates coming.
Frank Gallinelli, author of "What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow... And 36 Other Key Financial Measures" is teaching us the meaning of financial terms that most of us think we know, but should know better.
I just downloaded the book. He is actually pretty entertaining, both in person and in the book. Makes a dry subject more interesting.

Learned that I didn't know what I didn't know. There is a lot to consider and have in place BEFORE making this jump.
Thank you Sandy. No time to post- currently in workshop on wholesaling. 2 1/2 hours!! Rich
Michael Huber's presentation was awesome...
Kick ***, Take Names... and get rid of anyone who is not 100% committed to your agenda!
What's not to like?
The first day has been full of such great information that is hard to get online. What's so special is that it's coming from people we've known here on BP for a long time now.
It's been a long day and we're still going! Thank goodness for coffee...
I think I owe a round of Stone Smoke Porters to somebody
Agreed. Today was awesome! Definitely worth it! I'm surprised that there are only 2 of us from NM (that I know of). Emily Franklin (Santa Fe) and myself (Los Alamos). If there is anyone else here, invite me to be a colleague, let's network!

We're still going strong . . . the rehabbing bootcamp with Marty and J. Scott is rockin into the night!
What an awesome day! I just wish I could have made it to all of the sessions. Will Barnard put out top notch info today and managed to cover a different element of wholesaling than Ryan and Aaron did at the very intense wholesaling boot camp.
Denver is gorgeous at night. Just got back from a late night networking and general BS session at Peaks lounge on the 29th floor. Breathtaking view. My hat is off to you Joshua Dorkin, not only do you throw a great party, but I am just stoked to get home and get back to work with all I've learned here, and do business with all the contacts made.
Saturday- I agree that yesterday was great. I went to something different every hour and wifey went to some different ones. This morning is my turn! It is very regimented timewise, so I'm actually cutting out a few things right now. I want to leave 10 minutes for questions at the end.
The best part has been putting personalities with the faces of BP. It also has surprised me with the WIDE range of members in age, knowledge and experience. As one of the older guys, I still have my notepad and am taking notes at each session. I hope the attendees do the same thing at mine.
Come up and chat and trade business cards today. I had a bunch made for this and need to get rid of some! Rich
Summit is stuffed with so much knowledge and experience it leaves me slightly dizzy with trying to absorb it all! I have written until my hand feels numb in an attempt not to forget or overlook the smallest detail. I believe I understood Josh to say there will be DVD's to purchase of all the presentations. I hope so!

Bruce Norris is fantastic on reading the charts in a way that will tell us what will happen with prices, rates, and demand. The cycles repeat themselves, and we need to position ourselves accordingly.
Vote Bruce Norris for HUD Secretary!
Jon I know only Jack Norris :)).
Looks like you all have very busy days in Denver. Keep it up!

This has been a knowledge packed couple of days so far. I wish this would have been held a few months ago, before I started my first, and current, rehab, since it would have saved me some money. As it is, the items I learned from J. Scott and Marty about negotiating with contractors will save me more on a few of my remaining items than it cost to attend the Summit. That's just a sliver of what I've learned so far. Great event. Many thanks to Josh and all the presenters.
Clint Coons presentation on asset protection was worth the price of admission alone. Marty and J put together a very detailed presentation on flipping. They broke down a complex business model into 4 easy boxes. Great info even for more experienced investors.

What an awesome real estate summit! I've been to a lot of different conferences, boot camps, summits, workshops -whatever you want to call the, but BP'ers are proving this weekend why this is hands down THE best site on the net for real estate investors. It is the power of bringing together great people! What a great group of investors are here in Denver this weekend! Good stuff Josh.

"Josh is having the summit Videoed."
YES thank you Josh!!
You listened to our suggestion.I know the DVD or whatever it ends up being won't be free but will be a great purchase for many who couldn't attend because of money or time constraints.

So many of the presenters, including you
Chris, have hammered home the idea of
building the best team you can. And thatls what BP has always been to me, my go to team.
