Alamogordo has Holloman AFB which brings in lots of military and contractors. That's about all there is besides the space museums. Las Cruces and El Paso are better areas to invest in, but you may find good deals in Alamogordo too.

The full text of the NM Uniform Owner-Tenant Relations Act can be found in chapter 47 here:

Besides NMREIA there is another group called ACRE (Albuquerque Congress on Real Estate). I've heard good things about them too. When you get relocated, contact a few of us and let's get together.

Eric, Las Cruces is a great place to invest! You might check out EPIC (El Paso Investors Club) (elpasoinvestorsclub dot com). You might also check with the Las Cruces Association of Realtors and see if anyone knows of a local Las Cruces REIA. There are two clubs in Albuquerque (ACRE and NMREIA). You might also post a meetup wanting to play the Cashflow game, see how many people show up. Maybe there's an entrepreneur's club or association in town too?

Another thing a Realtor can help you with is forms such as purchase agreement, seller disclosures, etc. While most Realtors are not lawyers, they are usually part of a local association of Realtors that has had their forms reviewed by lawyers.
