REI Reply - Too Good To Be True?
Wondering if any wholesalers or other investors have used this software service, REI Reply. Seems too good to be true and wisdom tells me that it probably is. But hey, maybe they've cracked the code or something. I think this is a relatively new service, just kicked off in April.

Has anybody used this yet and have results that they could share? If it's legit, I might put it into my toolbelt.
Thanks BP Homies!
Hey! First bp post here! Curious to know if anyone actually did go down this rabbit hole? I saw all the positive posts, then I saw all the people that were rightfully suspicious about all the positive posts. Curious to know if anyone did sign up and what their experience looked like. Anybody have any issues cancelling their membership if it wasn't all it was cracked up to be?
Thanks for the insight, anything helps!
Ive been using rei reply for almost a month now. It really is an awesome platform that does alot. Im really struggling with it though from a 'technology' standpoint. I want certain workflows - to set it up for literal plug and play! I feel like I am currently wasting so much time doing manual functions. I do not want to watch videos or try doing it myself anymore. Can anyone recommend a co or someone theyve used to set theirs up? Also, does anyone know if we can 'integrate' a multi line predictive dialer service to flow with our reireply workflows?
Really Tucker! I know this was a year ago you made this statement about made up accounts to provide fake reviews on this product! I was just turned on to this by someone who has no relationship but he use it and he's was already making millions in wholesaling and RE. in general. He made the change, done away with most of the other software and now swears by this ReiReplay. He also said he thought it was too good to be true due to the pricing. I just signed up and the amount of options and training and support in one tool is unmatched.
I hope others can speak on their experience in the last 6 months.
I tried REI Reply for about a month and did not like it. Clunky, glitchy, does a lot of things, but does not do them well. Tried making a website on their platform, it was a disaster. I see the value in auto texting and nurture/drip campaigns. As a 1 on 1 communication platform it was not a fit for me. I am a wholesaler doing 30 deals a year and I'm a 1 man team. I use Follow Up Boss, been using for a few years, and it's gotten better with time. It's very smooth for calling, texting, uploading documents, scheduling appointments, email and calendar integration, reporting on income and KPIs, etc. It's more than REI Reply but I find value in the speed and efficiency it gives me. Time is money. Plus, I would end up hiring a Lead Manager to manage leads eventually. Nothing beats a phone call to a lead to let them know you're thinking of them versus a canned text drip message. Just my $0.02.

The positive reviews are real because by doing a video review REI Reply waives the $500 start-up fee. That's why there are so many video reviews.

That makes sense Jake, about every product out there including cheerios does this type of review harvesting. ;(
I can only say I'm a long time reireply user, in its simplest mode. Drip out SMS to a big list of stressed (in theory) owners. Dripping maybe 200/day across 5 rented ($1/mo) phone lines. I know the sms are being delivered, or some number, I get replies. Telling me to f-off. Geeze! I got one deal early on. The lack of good leads I don't attribute to this tool, but my list and that still folks have good enough jobs to afford to pay their mortgage. I keep paying to sms an upload fresh lists on "faith" that sooner or later the faithful bird will get a worm.
I don't see any reason to bash this tool. It works, its reasonably priced. Go use some other SMS tool. Comments on a thread about a tool by folks who NEVER used the tool is just ... not sure of the word, but its not useful for anyone.
Go join the reireply 2 or 3 facebook groups to find more actual users. Yes one company facebook group and another by a wholesaler using this tool. Maybe a 3rd grouip. There is support and users out there. One the topic of support, the support tickets I've created got answered by the next day.
Marketing; its 98% in the quality of your lists!!! Don't blame poor results on some tool. IE buy a bad list that is full of happy home owners, yes all you'll get back are f-off's and "stop"'s. Go study "rei data"!! You need to become a data expert to know how to pull lists. I use propstream.com for that. Looked at a bunch of touting tools and tossed them for propstream.com. Yet another $99/mo... :( :( :( I have at least $500/mo in tool subs. Listen folks, the Gurus saying wholesaling is a low $$$ deal type are wrong (lieing). You'll spend typically 30% of your net on marketing costs. $10k assignment, yoiu'll have spent at least (AT LEAST) $3k on the marketing.
Best of luck to all, curt
Does this work for mass texting as well?
I'm in the market to find a suitable software/service for my wholesaling operations. Spoke to REI Reply a couple of times but when I asked some tough questions, he flaked out. We were supposed to start last week and I am still awaiting his reply.
Just curious if REI reply is legit or not.

Hi Kaus, I'm just another user, around 3 yrs. I just use the very basic features of uploading a list of addresses, paying for skip tracing, around 10cent ea, and created an 8 mo, 8x, touch campaign and just turn it loose and never touch it again. Then answer the replies I get back from the 4 rented phone numbers. I don't use RVM, not sure it works today, I ignore messages, nore email. If you train up reireply has a ton of features.
BUT I agree they are not a hand holding org. reireply was built for personal use by a nationwide wholesaler and then eventually opened it up for subscription users so their purpose is not so much to cater to new folks, but their own use. It works, you just need to dig in and start using it.
There are a few other SMS tools. IMHO none are "hand holding" you need to unfortunately spend a lot of time figuring out how to get each tool to work.
If you have questions, their process is that you create a trouble ticket. Best of luck to all.
@Curt Smith - Good to hear from you again. Thanks for your inputs and insight. Do you recommend anybody else ? I am looking to get 2-5 deals a quarter (for own fix and flips) and possibly wholesale a few. So the volumes are quite low..

@Patricia Mangham ultimately no. I went with LeadSherpa. Main reason why is that Leadsherpa protects you from legal ramifications where REI reply does not. Also, leadsherpa is cheaper at scale, though REI reply is cheaper upfront. If you're intending to use long term and don't want to get sued for noncompliance, go with LeadSherpa.
This is one of the reasons we didn't go with REI Reply. We have a lead generation business for real estate investors and on the back end we didn't want to go with software that puts our client in a bad situation.
There are multiple things that seem to be wrong with rei reply

@Gene Koslove Yes, I have been using it for over a year for my business--one of the early adopters (actually) and even have a testimonial with them. If you want, I can schedule a short screen share with you so you can see things from MY personal account. If you (or anyone) wants to message me, I have videos (search 'Rob Lam reireply' on YT) to show you of my account and tips and tricks that have helped me thrive.
Thanks
Hello Robert how can I get in touch with you
not too good to be true. Its real, just very slow.

Let me ask, does it use AI to automate the conversation? Is it the small monthly cost as well as a campaign cost? Where do the leads come from, do you still have to pull lists (I've been looking on their site and didn't feel like I got my questions answered, sorry to inundate you)

Call me cynical, but I am leery of all of the replies from users with one or 2 total post. Did they join BP and immediately search for REI Reply? I guess it is possible, but …
There were a couple positive feedbacks from some BP users with more than a few posts, but most of the positive feedback came from users with very few posts.
I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. If necessary, I can get some BP users with a couple of posts to vouch that it is a legit product.
Good luck
Hey Dan! You're a dumbass! As if posting on BP is the only measure of RE investor knowledge and experience and credentials. You're probably one of those Yuppies that goes around looking at yelp reviews before you eat or shop somewhere. Go get a life somewhere else you moron.
Name calling in your first and only post on your first day. It is exactly the type of post I was calling out and you make my case for me better than I could.
I do not give a $hit what you believe.
Out!
I purchased. It can do a lot. It has a lot of features and integration capabilities. I think the ChatGBT/ Reba integration will be useful (once I successfully train it). However, it is not too user friendly, there is a learning curve that will take time becoming fluent in the workflow (hence the 127 training categories).
There are several 3rd party services built within the software that are required (not expensive but will cost). You'll also need a business w/ EIN# and a website that matches the business name (for text campaign compliance purposes).
The Spintax feature is also a cool and necessary feature but I have seen this executed much better in other softwares. I like it because it does appear to be a one stop shop for what I use it for, but its gonna take some time to adjust to the workflow.
I used LaunchControl a few years ago which was really good honestly but at the time they haven't developed a mobile app yet, which is what i needed (they now have a movile app.) LaunchControl was also $300 - $500/m I believe which is a much pricier option but using it was a breeze... REIREPLY on the other hand, not so much. I love the price, the built in features, the all in one concept and I will continue to explore it. Honestly, I just was not prepared to ingest 127 pieces of content just to send texts lol (Kinda overkill in my opinion). I want to focus on deals as much as possible and I'm hoping the time I put into setting up and automating my REIREPLY will help me do that.
I hope this helps...
126 Step program, you pay them $99 per month plus more and you have to feel like you are doing work? I think this is a ridiculous company that tries to control their customers instead of help their customers.
I heard about REI Reply on the Real Estate Rookie podcast with Tony Robinson (granted it was a few years ago) which is what piqued my interest. This thread has been helpful and I'll continue my research for similar types of services.
Quote from @Scott Passman:
@Tucker Cummings I have no experience with this platform, but after reading this thread I'd be lying if I said my internal radar wasn't going off while reading this thread. I have to agree with @Dan H. on this. This may be a totally legit product, but there is a difference between vouching for something you've used and overselling the heck out of it. The fact that so many of these posts are from people who've never (or minimally) posted before and they are overselling it, even to the point of offering to pay for your first month, is suspicious. Personally, I would disregard most of the posts in this thread and contact the company to vet them out for yourself and form your own opinion.
So, my first post on BP is ref REI Reply. You guys think because someone doesn't have a billion posts or comments that their comments are not legit? What if someone has been investing for years and years and just discovered BP. Should you disregard their input? Just asking.
It is one of the least user friendly application on the market. Stay away at all costs. Also note, if you have any issues - there is little to no support team :) 5/10 (I have to use it because of the price)

Man, no support and require a lot of work, i would recommend, I am an IT guys, so should be easier for me and it is not
If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute joke, waste of money, waste of time. Continually shut down even though we were 100% compliant. They closed my account twice, then deleted all of my account information and I had to charge back the $1,000 I paid for a year of service and all of the additional charges they did not disclose about when I signed up. Absolute nightmare. DO NOT USE THEM!
