The only challenge can be if they didn't take the time and $ to make sure the circuits only control power to the unit they server.

IRA - I have a significant sum in my retirement fund and could easily tap it with ERSOP conversion even 15% would be enough to fund a duplex purchase down payment and renovation.

Keep good notes of who you talked to (insurance and attorney) and what was said...dates, times, conversation....these can become very valuable down the line.
