Where the general population shops is retail.

It is close to the University of Louisville and to the airport, but there are nicer neighborhoods that are also close that have more restaurants, coffee shops, etc. to offer an out of town visitor. 

Their membership in the middle class is based on a perceived membership gain by consumer activities such as shopping… the brand of the car they drive… and other status symbols they feel reflect their values in membership in the middle class".

Besides  being the "Next Portland" or a better version of itself, Pittsburgh has really been dubbed as the 2nd "Silicon Valley" with it's tech influence largely funded by big named companies such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Autodesk, Uber and Ford AI Initiative among others who have set up shop here.

I have not been to his new shop on 99... but will go by soon..

There are quite a few Polish owned machinist shops in New Britain CT., some on Myrtle St., a few blocks away.
