If you want to save money on postage and are sending a large amount of post cards you might want to have them preprinted with mail permit information.

It is extremely important to have a complete understanding of specific building codes which can differ from city to city so a contractor pulling permits may need to clarify materials to be used with local building codes.

You need to be a Florida licensed contractor to pull permits.

@Chad Urbshott That's a great story, and scary      Really illustrates why you should call code prior to sale     Not only to see if there's any outstanding issues but to see if permits have been pulled under the current owners name     This would be able to flush out any mechanics liens that may not have been listed yet with the courthouse  So I'm assuming you got this on the court steps    

Furthermore, if you cannot pull permits, you may not be able to get your draws out of the bank, normally they require permit verification prior to release of funds, if permits are required for the type of work you are planning.

The majority of these assets needed rehab that we did ourselves other than subcontracting some permit required work. 

Are you talking about homes small enough to not need permits?

NikkiAn inspection usually just covers if the item is functioning properly, not if all the permits have been pulled and passed by the city (although I think you may be able to request such an "upgraded" inspection, check with the company you have hired).
