We removed an upper floor tiny room to make full heigh (18 foot) ceilings in the living room.

No shelves, TVs, plant hangers in the ceiling, etc.

I do believe the ceiling has been hit with buyers in there as the homes on the market are sitting for long periods of time because nobody is willing to pay the crazy current listing prices.Townhomes are a different storey in WH and are continuing to rise, simply because they are still in that price point sweet spot and people still find them somewhat reasonable.

Do this right.From my experience, a lot of the buildings have 2 x 6 joists in the ceilings (smaller buildings).  

Do I need to hit the walls and ceilings with Kils or do I need to pull the sheetrock off the walls and ceilings, take it down to the studs and remove insulation and start over?

Over in Lehigh Acres, Lennar is offering new homes for $315K -- a 3Bed, 2Bath Ranch with tile floors, stone counters, vaulted ceilings in the living area, a garage, on a 1/4 acre. 

I am looking for someone to call if a disposal goes out, a toilet leak, ceiling fan switch out, caulking Windows and such.

There is dust , popcorn ceiling, plaster all over mine and my kids mattresses.

I have had to kilz paint ceilings, floors, and sometimes even remove Sheetrock and floors of people who were illegally smoking in units as opposed to people with pets In their units where I have had no issues.
