I understand structural/truss engineering and could save developers tons of money in wasted material/time. 

However it seems a lot of properties have already done these "easy" fixes and deprives an investor of taking advantage of forced appreciation and thus a big engine for ROI.   

Really, my intention is to be able to be a deal engineer and take on any lead that comes my way  :)

However, I always wanted to relocate out of state after college (which will be 6 years later; getting a master degree in Computer Engineer) and I'm sure I could begin investing in real estate during my college years.

Hello I'm Ken, I am an engineer currently working in commercial and industrial construction.

At this point I have the equity la plays as well as some good cashflow plays due to buying lucky but I am seeking some lifestyle engineering plays so cash flow deals are more appealing.  

My background is in Civil Engineering working on land development and transportation projects.  

Eliminating the title will insure this status.Mobile homes, especially the older ones, are not as sturdy as stick built houses so I like to convert them to owner carry contracts after the first ten years or so and let the money keep rolling in for the next 20 years with someone else responsible for the upkeep.As a side note, I accumulated enough money to buy the properties by flipping mobile homes, mostly in parks.

My passion for real estate led me to abandon my previous career as an engineer and pursue a career as full time real estate investor.
