Most of them I can get rent ready insanely cheap by just putting a crew of my hourly guys in them for 2-3 days and have them rent ready to match the neighborhoods, decent but dated (if that makes sense).  

In 1981, that had to have been one of the last models availableToday's tenant paying market rent is going to expect newer appliances unless you have the only property available in a super desirable areaThe difficulty is going to be matching the size exactly with the wood around the built in. 

I'd suggest working a smaller area that you aren't competing with them to purchase.We sold one in Jacksonville a few weeks back and the hedge fund actually replaced brand new carpet because it didn't match the color scheme they wanted.    

These brokers are matching buyers and sellers together much more so than what happens in the traditional residential space.
