Hello , I’m a recent college grad in California and I’m super motivated to begin my real estate investing career .

Hello, I am new to investing in rental properties with little to no money currently, as I am coming out of college.

On the other end of the spectrum my college roommate and I once received our full security deposit plus several hundred dollars.  

I’m looking at a potential BRRRR opportunity in College Hills, which looks to be in East Tampa.I live up in Wesley Chapel and am looking to network with investor friendly agents, wholesalers, etc.Does anyone have insight into College Hills?

The current plan is to get 2-3 properties by the end of this year, primarily around college towns renting to students.

Where I'm at currently I'm 24 years oldI make $27,000 a year working for Nova Community College I'm a W-2 employee.I've worked here for about 2 yearsI'm constantly learning new things about technology in robotics and in the stem fieldI consistently go to expose and events where I can hone my person-to-person skills.Where I would like to goGet a $25 an hour job as a 1099 employee / partner /GC for a real estate investor that has 30 rentals owned free and clear and running about 20 flips right now.Do I keep my W2 job in hopes that financing will come my way or do I put all my eggs in one basket with this real estate investor.

I think with your great attitude, there are a myriad of things you could do:Intern at a local RE agencyfocus on business courses in high school and college (if you plan on attending)Take free courses/webinars through Coursera/Udemy to learn skills that will be helpful. 

The property has 4 tenants (college students) and the lease ends on May 31st.
