I am interested in multifamily units, but am still studying the area and learning about the pros and cons of the different types of real estate, so that could be subject to change!

I have been studying the videos and have access to the MLX. 

My number 3 recommendation is to study as much as you can about wholesaling in general and about the different contract types that can be used.

Terms for you to study:  wholesaling lease options, sandwich lease options,  buying subject to.

Other than that we have been doing a bunch of studying because this is what she and I want to do as a business together.

Looking at recent flips and studying hot neighborhoods are also great ways to get some very useful knowledge as you are starting out.

Focus on 1 niche (property type) and 1 strategy  (wholesaling, fix & flip or rentals) and study it.

I am currently studying to become a CCIM, which I anticipate to complete in 2017.My journey into BiggerPockets came through the podcast, I started at episode 175 and have been working my way backwards, devouring the information at 2-3 episodes per day.Love the industry and the people I have met, feel very blessed and humbled to be able to work in it and have found my life's calling at a relatively young age.Look forward to meeting, working, and interacting with the members of this wonderful community!
