Now its time to really get started.My overall goals are to build sustainable wealth with real estate while providing a service to the general population in the form of property recycling (bring properties back to usable form for the public) and buy and hold rentals (providing solid housing for people and families).As far as progress, my wife and I are currently in our first house hack - living in, refurb, plan to rent.

A lot of those railroads are not active anymore as well and the prime rental areas that would be good investments tend to be far from them as well.

The service isn't evil or bad in any way, it's just niche.

Given that the Multiple Listing Service, or MLS is the best resource to use.

Currently active duty military and really looking to do REI on the side when i get out.

It isn't really about small multifamily but just multifamily in general but the best book I have read on the subject is Wheelbarrow Profits by Gino Barbaro who is a very active member here on the forums.

It makes a lot of sense and I am now actively trying to connect to other business owners and investors to form new friendships.My question is: have any of you been in a similar situation?
