Hi everyone,

Hope the day is treating you well. I am posting to introduce myself, thank the community for all the value provided and leave a bit of insight into what drives me and what I am trying to learn.

So first, I am from Bel Air Maryland. Born and raised in the area. I currently work as an engineer and project manager in the healthcare industry. I just got my P.E. in Civil/Construction which I am super pumped about - it took about 10 years to accomplish that. I am happily married. And now I am looking at what it takes to really succeed in the Real Estate arena (and business in general).

Bigger Pockets has put together a great podcast and community that has helped me dig through all the various areas of Real Estate investing. Now its time to really get started.

My overall goals are to build sustainable wealth with real estate while providing a service to the general population in the form of property recycling (bring properties back to usable form for the public) and buy and hold rentals (providing solid housing for people and families).

As far as progress, my wife and I are currently in our first house hack - living in, refurb, plan to rent. We are wondering if we should flip to build a bank roll and then buy and hold or what.... Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks all - Adam
