Even if you're not actively assisting buyers/sellers/investors, you can refer your sphere of influence to the agents in your firm for a referral fee.

We are working on building our Core Four and any recommendations or referrals to local RE groups would be much appreciated.

@Jesse Byrer I would be careful of any contractor referrals from HUD consultants for a few reasons.HUD Consultants are not allowed to have any conflict of interest or identity of interest with anyone involved in a 203k and a direct referral of a contractor could be a HUGE conflict. 

The best way to find someone that you can trust is to join a local real estate investor group, talk to some of the members and get referrals.

Those same contacts will also be your best referral source!

I suggest calling a few local realtors and asking them for referrals to loan officers they trust.

I used a company specifically for painting, a company specifically for flooring, a company for plumbing, etc.. if you would like a referral let me know!

If that means asking for lender referrals first, do that and actually call them.3.
