I gave it up, because both property management and vacation rentals requires a license in Florida, and there are high taxes about 12% that you have to pay... although private owners frequently do not follow the rules when renting to friends and family.One day soon, I will winter over in Florida and get it going again.

I have replanted well over 10,000 acres of ORegon Forest land and probably close to one million tree's  LOL... yes we had to replant.. and yes I can walk through a timber patch and tell if there is money there or not...

In case you do not mind answering it, when we look at real estate graphs, we see the median price of the homes goes down in winter and is at the peak at the summer in Columbus.
