I think one of the best things to do is join a local Real Estate Investors group, read books, and of course follow BiggerPockets articles so that you can learn as much as you can while you are saving up for your first property.

And it turned out to be more of a "You can do it" book that I spent money on.I would get as many books from the library on REI as possible.

"Blueprint" will allow the goverment to look into everyones books and how they are doing business.
