I'm relocating there in about a year.

I currently rent an apartment in NYC and am wanting to relocate to NJ or upstate NY soon, but prices are insane to buy anything I want.

@Joe Hines Do you invest from California, or have you relocated? 

I'm currently active in Bay Area, CA real estate investing, but prices have risen to a point where there's not any money to be made anymore following my usual MO.My family has the opportunity to relocate to Durham, NC and I'd like to get going again there.

My plan was to get my degree, relocate to Raleigh NC, and then get my appraisal license and become a commercial appraisal as my day job.

Relocating from Florida and trying to find a deal.

. :-) I know I'm not in the PHX area, but there is a smidge of a possibility of relocation for us, which is why I'm following this thread.

To lease out a warehouse, I'm going to do a mailer to other warehouses in the area, hoping to find a tenant that wants to relocate.

As I am trying to figure out a new primary residence for myself, I am leaning towards keeping that property as is or switching to STR until I have relocated and learned the new market. 

My husband works remotely and is currently our only income so I’m not sure if the ‘relocating’ jobs would work or not?
