FHA moving before 1 year?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if it was possible to rent out our FHA primary residence before our first year is up given the following circumstance:

We bought the home a month ago in TX with the intentions of living in it for a few years and then renting it out after. After we just bought the home about 2 months ago, we found out we were pregnant and want to move back closer to home in Boston, MA closer to our family as soon as possible. My husband works remotely and is currently our only income so I’m not sure if the ‘relocating’ jobs would work or not? Selling the property after just buying just seems stressful. Our ideal situation would be to rent out the property here and find an apartment to rent in near Boston in the meantime (so not getting another fha loan).

Is this exception possible? Anyone experience something like this?

Any advice is appreciated 🙏
